A backlink checker with a year of growth and loss
See every site that links to a domain, which links appeared or disappeared recently, and which pages attract them. Use it to audit your own profile, spy on a competitor, or find sites worth asking for a link.
How it works
- 1Enter a domain or pageYours, a competitor's, or one URL you want to understand.
- 2Read the profileTotal backlinks, referring domains and pages, rank, broken links and spam score, plus charts of growth and of links gained and lost over the year.
- 3Open the listBrowse the links, the referring domains and the top pages, with the source, the anchor text, the strength and when it was first seen.
What you get
- Backlinks and referring domains
- The size of the profile, counted both ways.
- Growth over a year
- Backlinks and referring domains by month.
- New versus lost
- What was gained and what disappeared, so a drop is visible.
- Link details
- Source page, anchor text, rank, follow type and first-seen date.
- Broken backlinks and spam score
- Links pointing at dead pages you could recover, and a health signal for the profile.
A worked example: finding links you can win
A competitor has 3,482 referring domains and a link from a respected publication to a free invoice template. You see the source page, the anchor text and when it appeared.
Three things follow. The publication links to templates, so one of yours could earn a mention. Their lost-links chart shows a dip in June, so you know what to avoid. And their broken backlinks list names pages that used to attract links and now return an error, which is a list of articles you can write better.
What a backlink check costs
A domain backlink overview with one year of history costs about $0.08. Lookups come out of the usage your plan includes each month, priced from the cost of the data. Repeating a recent lookup is free, and top-ups never expire.
| One backlink check | about $0.08 |
| 50 checks in a month | about $4.00 |
| Starter plan includes | $5 of lookups |
